Belonging is Responsibility [ Sermon Only ]

The pastor uses an empty chair to show that the church has room for people who feel unsure they belong. The message says humans were created for community, and loneliness is not failure but a signal we need others. Sin fractured belonging, but Jesus alone restores peace and reconnects people. Because God is already gathering outsiders and the forgotten, the church must actively make space and welcome them. Isaiah 56 is used to call the church to promote justice, do what is right, and refuse fear. The core takeaway is that belonging requires shared responsibility, not “someone else” doing the work.
